The Festival at Cheltenham

In March, the beautiful Cheltanham race course hosts the finale of the National Hunt Season - The Cheltanham Festival.

The Cheltenham Festival is a twenty race event held over four days and sees over 120,000 people and has prize money of over £1,000,000.

In 2005, the Cheltanham Festival is held on the following days:

• Tuesday 15th March - Smurfit Champion Hurdle Day
• Wednesday 16th March - Queen Mother Champion Chase Day
• Thursday 17th March -  Stayers' Hurdle Day
• Friday 18th March - totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup Day
